Drawing and painting have always been very difficult for me. I have really liked the paintings of my friend Tom Rosenbaum, a very gifted artist, who has been encouraging me to learn to draw and paint (with his tutelage), something that had been totally outside my comfort zone and inherent talent level. Stick figures have always been a major challenge for me, so it was with much trepidation that I have ventured out to dabble with sketching with pencil, pastels and charcoal as well as painting very abstract pieces in acrylics and watercolor. Perhaps I’ve made a bit of progress.
