Public Health
A major part of my career has been devoted to the field of public health. Besides my opportunity to treat individuals and families, I am also grateful and have the great privilege to help prevent illness on a community, state and federal levels. I have been the medical director of six different County health departments and continue to do so in three southeastern Michigan counties. The pandemics of AIDS and Covid-19 have been very challenging, and I am proud of the hard-working public health professionals who have worked tirelessly with me to help control the spread and to offer mitigation strategies and vaccinations to the greater communities se served.
